Uploading files using WinSCP

This tutorial assumes you already have WinSCP running on your computer, and are connected to a remote server.

Now let's learn how to upload or transfer files from our computer to a remote server.

1) Select a few files you would like to upload. To select multiple files press CTRL on your keyboard.

2) Click copy.

3) Click copy again.

That's it! We've successfully uploaded the selected files to the remote server, and they are now also displayed here in the remote server window.

Let's learn how to download files. To demonstrate this, we'll first remove a file from our local computer.

4) Let's remove changelog.txt. Select it and click delete.

5) Now let's download the file changelog.txt from the remote server to our local computer. Select the file here.

6) Click copy again.

There it is!

This is the end of the tutorial. Now you know how to upload and transfer files to and from your local computer.
